The baby is due so we have a party

Hi, baby due Friday 5th May. No sign of the little urchin so Manuela wants to party!
We receive good friends, with due deference to the forthcoming event, even though Manuela dedicates herself to doing to much. But not in this picture!! This was pre party in the afternoon, a glorious day for sitting in the back garden.


So once the decision was made friends were informed and a barbecue was had. Rhys popped his coiffured head over the parapet to hand me the latest Portuguese edition of his book, "A Universal History of Infamy" and the party ended. But not due to that intervention.
